Who Doesn't love to just lounge on the couch and binge watch a good show!? I know I'm super guilty of this as soon as the kids are in bed! People ask me my hobbies and I reply... "Binge watch t.v.". People ask me what I like to do with my husband and I reply "Binge watch t.v.". Some families aren't big t.v. families but we are. My kids watch it (I try my best to keep it educational for them) but t.v. is usually always on in the background while we are playing. Anyways, here is a list of my top Netflix shows I suggest you to binge watch (without the kids).
1. If you are into chick flicks check out Jane the Virgin. There are 5 seasons and it gets you hooked quick! It's about a Girl who made a promise to stay a virgin until marriage but a routine Gyno visit flips her life upside down!
2. If you are into Thriller/serial killer shows check out "Dexter". Dexter has 8 Seasons and is a Mystery series. They are in the process of making 1 last season as we speak and I'm so pumped for it!
3. Another one that I'm sure a lot of people have watched and if you haven't is Schitt's Creek! If you haven't go watch it now! It's a sitcom about a wealthy family who lose everything but one asset.... A town called Schitt's Creek. It is hilarious and a must see!
4. Breaking Bad. This is an older one but was super popular when it first came out. This show has 5 Seasons and is considered a crime show. It's about a Chemistry teacher who has a wife and family and who becomes terminally ill and his teacher salary just isn't cutting it for him so he takes matters into his own hands.
5. Girlfriends Guide to Divorce. Now I wasn't sure about this one because I can't relate at all to divorce but you don't have to in order to get into this Drama Series. There are 5 seasons and it's about an Author of self help books and the crazy life she lives.
6. Ozark. There are 3 Seasons but they are working on a 4th! This is a drama about a financial planner who relocates his family to a summer resort community in the Ozarks. Marty the Financial planner is on the move after a money-laundering scheme goes wrong, forcing him to pay off a substantial debt to a Mexican drug lord in order to keep his family safe.
7. Black Mirror. This is a series where each episode is different. It's more of a contemporary reworking of "The Twilight Zone" with stories that tap into the unease of our modern world with technologies and the effect they have on society and individuals. Each story features its own cast of unique characters. I wish they would come out with more episodes!
8. The Haunting of Hill House. Now this is for those who like scary movies/tv. This show was probably the best horror show I've ever seen. It scared me to the point that I was scared to go to bed at night. The plot alternates between two timelines, following five adult siblings whose paranormal experiences at Hill House continue to haunt them in the present day. Beware... You may have nightmares!
9. Stranger Things. This show is for those who are into Sci-fi! There are 3 Seasons. It takes place in 1980s Indiana. A group of young friends witness supernatural forces and secret government exploits. As they search for answers, the children unravel a series of crazy mysteries.
10. Shameless! There are 11 Seasons of this show. This show is like a train wreck that you can't stop looking at. It's about a single father of six who spends much of his free time drinking at bars. The Gallagher children, led by oldest daughter Fiona, who takes on much of the child-rearing responsibility due to her mother's absence- manage to raise themselves in spite of their Dad's lack of parenting and unusual parenting style when he does choose to act like a father.
